Parents and Alternative Music
What is up with parents and alternative music?
My mom just can't stand them, she says it's too loud when it's not...
What's wrong with alternative music, sometimes I think of Alternative Music as an allergens and parents get hayfever whenever they hear one, or get close to hearing one...
Maybe it's just my parents but never in the whole of my existence (since I started listening and playing Alternative Rock), did my parents ever approve of the music I play...
Are all parents like that or am I the only pitiful soul whose parents can't stand the distorted sound of an electric guitar??? Am I the only pitiful soul whose parents can't stand too much beating of drums?
Once, I told them to try listening to the lyrics maybe that would change their minds about the music FYI my parents think that Alternative Music are music made by demonic followers, crazy huh?
Well that didn't work out as well, now I gotta listen to my type of music only if I'm using a headset or I'm playing it at the lowest possible level...
